El Fiscal General de la República, Douglas Meléndez, confirmó este lunes 23 de julio que un fiscal auxiliar se lanzó del edificio de la Fiscalía ubicado en la colonia San Benito.
Una fuente de la Fiscalía confirmó a Diario La Página, que se trata del fiscal auxiliar Carlos Iván Quintanilla Campos, destacado en la Unidad Especializada de Trata de Personas.
En un principio se dijo que la persona se había lanzado desde el edificio de Santa Elena, pero la FGR aclaró que fue desde el edificio de Unidades Especializadas en San Benito.
Tras el hecho, personal del sistema de emergencia 911 lo auxiliaron y lo trasladaron a un hospital privado del municipio de San Salvador. Se desconocen las razones por las cuales el fiscal tomó esta decisión, aunque algunos compañeros dijeron que pasaba por un estado de depresión por asuntos personales.
